Last week, I wrote the 3D Travel Team a letter & received notes of encouragement for many days as different team members heard something that resonated. Even our wonderful Charlene took time to tell me she thought it was relevant enough to send out every 6 months, as we're all in different stages of success and need to hear it again. Perhaps you need to hear this, too?

Sometimes saying no is the best answer.
If there is something we can do to make our client's lives better, the 3D Travel Team wants to do it. Every day of the year, 3D Team members are on call for traveling and planning clients. We wake up before dawn to modify existing reservations, make new reservations, plans and memories. Often multiple components of any vacation are not commissionable and modifications can even make existing commission go down, but everyone here takes our job as client advocates seriously. We strive to treat our clients even better than the way we want to be treated. And because we don't like to hear the word "No" we try very hard not to say it, but in the case of including airfare, it turns out no is the best kindness we can give.
Everyone says it when you're a young mother: "They grow up too quickly." "Treasure Every Moment." And you know what? I did. But now they're GROWN, I'm no longer (as) young & we took a trip together to Walt Disney World PLUS a cruise on the Disney Dream PLUS Give Kids the World for the weekend PLUS I hosted my team for some training. Somehow we planned it well & it was one of the best trips we've ever taken. I'll tell you how.

I opened 3D Travel summer of 2005 and with each new chapter, my schedule has changed and adjusted with the growth of our success, outside projects and even the changing ages of my children. This is my life today, as I'm on the verge of celebrating 14 years in the travel industry with over 40 team members, 3 (nearly) grown and flown children, a LARGE Mastiff and a little Yorkie all coloring the pages of my life here in Texas. What's it like?
Beyond the ordinary everyday life we all lead is an opportunity to grow as a person, think deeper thoughts and broaden our ability to love. We have the chance to go beyond merely tolerating our fellow man. We can appreciate, care for and be the person we are meant to be. All this self-potential can be discovered when we follow our yearning to see the world for more of what it is, instead of what the media may tell us. All we need to do is travel. We need to touch, taste, feel the world for what it is before we can see it. Are you ready?
