Robin is currently transitioning into empty nesting while pursuing a deeper connection with her husband, Jeret. She’s also working to figure out “who the heck Robin is” as a wife, a friend, a person? And what will life look like moving forward?
Hey, it’s a big question, and she’s on the journey to get the answer!
Being a new military mom times two and a firemom besides, Robin is constantly trying to figure out how to function while her babies are out protecting the world. If you know the answer, let us know!
Present, loving, supportive, and still dialing into her kids as both her babies forever and also “baby adults.” That’s Robin right now.
Robin loves booking families - kids and their parents coming together intentionally and doing something that is just so much fun! Robin loves tailoring experiences for these families that take away the stress and irritation that can keep parents from being present.
By removing that agitation for the adults, they can all enjoy time together, as they escape from a world that struggles with joy.
Also, Robin loves shared couples travel - the ultimate double date! It allows each couple to reconnect and also gives that needed space for intentional friendship. This can be hard to come by, just making time to laugh, and Robin loves to create paths to make that happen!
Robin joined 3D Travel in the fall of 2017.
Robin has always enjoyed traveling with her kids. She wanted to learn how to make those trips that meant so much to her not just happen for her, but for others as well.
She also stepped into something she could do from home, something within her family structure, but also all her own. Booking with 3D is a job where she can create and build something, grow as a person, and do both at the same time.
As her travel and booking experience has grown, Robin’s passion to help others give themselves permission to travel - something that is a need, not a privilege - has also grown.
Robin is from and lives in Chicagoland.
She’s trapped by the weather, but she’s really not, and neither are her local clients. She helps them escape the grey skies, winter drizzle, and bone-chilling cold. All this makes Robin appreciate travel even more!
One of the things that brings Robin the most joy, even outside of being a TA, is watching people experience something for the first time.
“I baked this. I created this. I did this. I saw this!”
Facilitating exploration and discovery absolutely delights Robin, and her biggest drive in her work as a travel advisor is helping others create a new path in this great adventure of life!
