Check In & Greeting Process
Checkin went smoothly. Showed them my passport, paid the tax, and had to sign some papers. They were very friendly.
Service / Room Service / Housekeeping
Housekeeping did a great job. When we arrived there was a hair in the jacuzzi tub, so we asked them to come disinfect the tub which they did. They cleaned our room every day and kept it very tidy. They even brought an iron when we asked for a new iron.
Cleanliness / Refurbishment Observations
Facilities are terrible. It is so rundown.  I would never send any clients here.  Between each of the rooms, there is a door with electrical wires and pipes that just stays open. So much water damage and ceiling discoloration. It is very sad. It could be a beautiful property, but it is like the owners don't care.
Activities & Amenities
They had water aerobics every day and some sort of pool activity - foam party, water volleyball, etc. They also had culture things like cocktail class, guacamole class, etc. There was a spa on site as well as gym.

Three a la carte restaurants, a buffet, and some snack/bar options
Buffet wasn't great. Hamburgers were disgusting. The a la carte restaurants were ok.
Crowd Levels & Management Observations
It is a small resort.  The crowd was made up of mostly older couples, and most came to the resort year after year and knew each other and the staff. We found out that it is family owned. The parents died, and the kids just don't take care of it. They have let it decline over the years.
Nightlife Observations
Little to no nightlife. They did have some sort of nightly entertainment, and I think people went to the bar afterwards.

Noise Levels
It is an atrium, so you could hear all the noise from the lobby area upstairs in the rooms.
General Atmosphere - party, relaxation, etc.
This is definitely for a certain type of clientele. Mainly your older lower income couples who aren't picky about the facilities or food and just want a cheap beach getaway.
Transportation Options
Took the Amstar shuttle from the airport. They had a rep at the resort to confirm the return time which made things easy.
Bell Services, Luggage Handling, Valet, Other Amenities
Staff was great!  That was the one great thing about the resort. Super friendly and helpful.
Additional Comments
From the moment I walked in, I knew I wouldn't sent clients here. I will say it grew on me over time, but it was because of the people we met. However, I still would never send clients here. I was worried on every elevator trip if it was going to make it up or down. There was so much facility revamping that needed to be done. Management should be embarrassed. Food was just ok not great. Staff was wonderful, though. Beach was really nice, and they had a great pool (only one). However, not enough pool chairs at all. Absolutely nothing to do if it rains. Overall, DO NOT SEND CLIENTS HERE!
