Check In & Greeting Process
We were met by bell services when we drove up. They offered to take our luggage as well as park our car. The checkin process was smooth. You do receive a water bottle when you checkin. They have refillable stations throughout the resort. They will also give you a flyer with the resort map and activities throughout the resort.
Service / Room Service / Housekeeping
You will receive housekeeping every day. They do a great job and are very kind. The customer service over all was great. We didn't do room service.
Cleanliness / Refurbishment Observations
Very clean resort! They just redid their lobby in 2019 or sometime during the pandemic. I can't remember.
Activities & Amenities
They have lots of activities and amenities.
We went to the luau at the resort which was a great experience. The show was wonderful. It is a buffet, so if you have clients that want a plated luau, this is not the one for them.
Every night at sunset, they have a cliff diver off the Black Rock to represent the last Maui chief and his bravery.
They have s'more kits, and you can use the firepits around the resort.
They have a great pool area. There is a pool and a pool river as well as hot tub.
They have a water sports rental booth. It has scuba gear as well, and they will do dives throughout the week.
There is a shuttle that stops at Whaler's Village and the Kaanapali Golf Club & Restaurant. You can walk down the beach to Whaler's Village.
There is a spa at the property.
They offer Hawaiian cultural activities.
There are tennis and pickleball courts.

Crowd Levels & Management Observations
We were there soon after they reopened, so there were few people. Everyone was happy to see us, though, and were very kind. The Sales Manager, Kiyoshi, gave me a site inspection tour and very willing to help us with our clients however he can.
Nightlife Observations
Since there were so few people, I didn't see a lot of nightlife. Plus, I was dealing with jetlag so was in my room pretty early. I do know that people hung out at Sandbar in the evening.
Clientele Observed
Couples,Family with preschoolers,Family with grade schoolers,Family with teens,Seniors (55+)
Noise Levels
It was quite; however, since we were there soon after it opened after the fire, this may not be a fair assessment.

Very relaxed atmosphere but, once again, not sure if that is accurate assessment since we were there just after reopening.
